3 Steps To Fuller Lips

By: Elliot Beers

Achieving sexy, plump lips has become the new fad in the cosmetic industry. The characterization of actresses and models with the appeal of plump lips has lead to phenomenal growth in the sales of lip enhancement products. Very few people are born with naturally plump lips, but that is not to say that the look is unachievable. Here are three simple steps you can do to enhance the appeal of your lips.

Moisturize
One of the most common side effects to poor lip care are dry and cracked lips. This problem stems from a lack of moisture retained by the lip tissue. It is important to focus on moisturizing your lips multiple times a day, especially in dry seasons such as winter. There are plenty of great moisturizers to choose from, but the key to success with any product is consistent application. If you are struggling with dry and cracked lips then you will need to start with five to six applications per day. It is also recommended to substitute your normal cosmetic lipstick with a hydrating formula. Regular lipstick provides very little moisture and can actually aggravate your lip tissue.

Exfoliate
The human body has an amazing system of regenerating new skin tissue as the old skin dies and flakes away. You can use this system to your advantage by exfoliating the old skin from your lips. Using a gentle, lip-specific exfoliator, wash away the old cracked skin from your lips about once a week. The newly exposed tissue will be delicate, but it can be cared for by using the moisturizing techniques described earlier. By regularly exfoliating your lips you will ease away from your old boring lips to a new luscious and healthy look. Just remember to exfoliate in moderation. You must give your skin plenty of time to regenerate and heal the lost tissue in order to experience the best results.

Enhance
The last step in the lip enhancement strategy is to add volume to your lips through the use of plumping agents. The most common lip volumizer ingredient is collagen. Collagen can be applied to the lips through a couple of different treatments. Botox injections have received a great deal of press lately because of their ties to the Hollywood lifestyle. While this type of treatment offers a temporary solution, there are side effects to consider such as allergic reactions, swelling, and shifting collagen. A more controlled use of collagen can be attained through the use of collagen applicators. This form of treatment takes slightly longer to achieve results, but the effects are more permanent and risk-free. Best of all, collagen absorption rarely results in allergic setbacks or other side effects.

One of the easiest ways to achieve fuller lips is to use the First Impression Lip Enhancement System. This three-step system targets each of the steps described above with the use of specialized creams that each focus on maintaining one aspect of lip health.
