Acne And Depression

By:

Many people have had some acne problems in their life but there are some people who have had to deal with the emotional pain of severe long lasting acne. Acne can destroy a person's social life because of the way other people see someone who has chronic severe acne. The fact is people of the opposite sex do not find people with severe chronic acne to be attractive and this can lead to depression.

One of the more frustrating things about suffering from severe acne is that people who do not have an acne problem will often say (or at least think) that someone with acne just needs to buy some of the topical treatments that are advertised on TV. Even worse sometimes people will say that people who suffer from acne have the problem because they do not clean their face. This is so frustrating because acne has absolutely nothing to do with how clean the skin is. And topical treatments for acne and washing the face are extremely ineffective because of this fact. This ribbing about cleanliness can make the pain of acne even worse. It can make someone with acne feel guilty about having acne as if it really is their fault. This feeling can make the depression more severe.

A lack of a connection with others is the biggest cause for depression. Severe acne can cause this lack of connection with other people and thus can cause depression. Sometimes this depression can become so bad that the depressed person with acne can even consider suicide. This is particularly true with a younger person who is suffering from acne because they may not have the ability to see the "big picture" yet and because young people tend to be the most outwardly cruel towards those who suffer with acne.

The prescription drug Accutane which is often prescribed to those with severe acne is taken internally and stops acne at it's source. Sadly, while Accutane is a very effective treatment for stopping acne, it also has many dangerous side effects. Among the worst side effects of Accutane is depression. So while Accutane may eventually clear someone's acne, in the mean time the depression may be too much for the acne sufferer to bear.

Over the last 10 years a new alternative to acne treatment has been discovered. The use of large doses of B5 vitamins. This has been shown to be very effective and works much like Accutane in stopping acne at it's source internally which is the overproduction of oil inside the body. The exciting thing about B5 vitamins is that they not only work very effectively in stopping acne but they also have no severe side effects. In fact, many people report extra energy and focus when using B5 vitamins and some people even take B5 vitamins because of the energy and focus that it seems to bring.

Unlike Accutane, B5 vitamins do not require a prescription.

Johnny Moon recommends Vilantae B5 Vitamins For Acne Treatment because it worked for him, it's worked for thousands of others, and it's been scientifically proven.
