• Acne development on the skin is caused by Bacteria that live on the skin. The bacteria known as Propionibacterium which is responsible for causing acne. These types of bacteria produce substances that cause redness and irritation. They too make enzymes, which dissolve the sebum into exasperating substances. These substances also create the irritation worse.

• Convinced hormones called androgens are an extra issue in causing acne. Androgens are male hormones that are there in together men and women, but are superior in men. Androgens do two things: First, they increase the sebaceous glands in the skin. Second, they reason these glands to augment sebum (oil) construction. The augmented sebum leads to plug configuration and serves as extra "food" for the bacteria. Androgens rush at puberty, which is why teens expand armpit and pubic hair, and why boys expand facial hair and deeper voices. This hormonal surge too contributes to the growth of acne in teens.
