As you walk through the beautiful terrain, you will have the opportunity to see more than 90 of the native Texan wildlife up close. For the explorer in everyone, there is the interactive discovery lab area where you can learn about the different types of natural areas found in Texas. If you prefer, you can hike down the Eco-Detective Trail and search for wildlife. And you definitely will not want to miss out on the awesome Dino Pit! Here, you will learn about and dig up actual Texas dinosaur fossil replicas. The Austin Nature and Science Center should definitely be a stop on your trip to Austin.
If you have young children or are a child at heart, then the place to visit on your trip to Austin is the Austin Children’s Museum. This museum is designed with children in mind. There are many interactive and multimedia exhibits. The exhibits are intended for children to explore, discover, create and learn through play. With activities ranging from music to building to arts and crafts, you will easily spend an entire day here having fun.
These are but just a few of the fun and entertaining museums that you will encounter on your trip to Austin Texas. Austin has so many museums for you to check out.
