Dandruff Remedies and Some Effective Solution for Dandruff

It's been a very long while since I have not on paper in this space, and I am grateful to those who have taken the time to write to me to make sure I'm breathing, surviving.

Thank you, and I hope life has been treat you well now as it has been good to me. While in the year (in reality almost 2 years) I spent more time on offline project, amazing has been cooking in the back of my mind that I'm bringing back to the Web.

As usual, I will say very little about the idea and feeling behind my apparently random writings (hint: it's probably better treasured in sequence over time), and it's conceivable to me that it may please you or bore you.

Either way, I hope that my words and thoughts still bring you some elements of pleasure.

As it is normal for skin cell to die and flake off, a small amount of peeling is normal and in fact quite common.

Some people, however, either constantly or as a result of sure triggers, experience an strangely large amount of peeling, which can also be accompany by redness and irritation.

Cause of Dandruff

Contrary to the old wives tales, dandruff isn't caused by too much shampooing or dry skin. It is triggered by overactive oil glands, food allergies, stress, excessive perspiration, or harsh shampoos.

There is a ordinary fallacy that dandruff is caused by scalp skin being too dry.

Hence some people keep away from wash their hair, believe that the drying consequence of shampoo will worsen their dandruff.

Their scalp is almost surely not being cleansed enough; the scale is structure up into larger, more visible flakes before it falls off the skin.

Dandruff harms tend to occur more frequently in public with oily skin and hair.

Symptoms of Dandruff

1. White flakes on scalp
2. Dry scalp
3. Itchy scalp
4. Dry scaly patches
5. Pink scaly patches
6. Skin-colored scaly patches
7. Whitish scales
8. Flaking skin
9. Skin redness

Treatment of Dandruff

There are several type of over-the-counter shampoos available for treating dandruff.

If you try one and it doesn't have the preferred result, move on to the next.

Following are four ordinary types of dandruff shampoos:
Zinc pyrithione shampoos, such as American Crew Anti Dandruff
Shampoo and Head & Shoulders, contain an sterile and antifungal agent (zinc pyrithione) which has been shown to fight the fungus that causes dandruff.

Selenium sulfide shampoos, such as Selsun Blue, can stop cell turnover and may help control the malassezia fungus.

These types of shampoos may stain blond or gray hair and can cause significant discoloration in chemically treated hair, so follow the information carefully and rinse well.

Ketoconazole shampoo, like Nizoral, contains a broad antifungal agent.

Tar-based shampoos, such as Neutrogena T/Gel, contain coal tar, which slows cell turnover and reduces the configuration of dandruff's scaly flakes.

Home Remedies for Dandruff

Hot steam bath is highly useful for the hair and scalp. Massage hot oil and enfold a hot damp towel on the head for few minutes.

Immerse peels of lemon in coconut oil for 8-10 days in sunshine. Now sieve and relate on the hair. Hair will turn into dandruff free.

Hot oil therapy is the best technique to cure dandruff. Massage hot oil into the scalp at bedtime.

Next morning an hour before the bath, rub lemon juice varied with cosmetic vinegar into the scalp with strand wool.

Wash your hair properly and as a last rinse use the juice of one lemon in a cup of hot water. Continue this action once or twice a week for three months.

Mix two tablespoons of beauty vinegar and six tablespoons of hot water. Dab this with cotton on the scalp and leave it while sleeping. Next morning wash the hair with a shampoo. - Home Remedy for Dandruff

Mix beetroot juice in vinegar and apply on the scalp. Ginger juice and beetroot juice mixed together and realistic on the scalp are also beneficial.
