How To Choose The Right Juice Extractor

By: alien

There are thousands of juice extractors on the market, and they vary greatly in price, depending on the features that are chosen.

Before buying make sure that you have taken what you want in a juice extractor into consideration.

The most important thing to ask yourself before purchasing it, is what type of juice do you want to drink?

Some juicers are unable to extract wheat grass, although they are ideal for fresh fruits and vegetables.

Centrifugal-ejection juicers are a good all round juicer for those who like to juice wheat grass and fresh fruits and vegetables.

There are many other things to look for when choosing a the right model, for example ease of use, especially when cleaning.

No matter how impressive an appliance is, if it is difficult to use, or clean it will hardly get used.

A juicing extractor that has removable parts and is dishwasher safe will be ideal.

Make sure that the juice extractor is lightweight and easy to store, this will make it even more enjoyable to use, and pack away.

Another thing to look for is a wide mouth for feeding fruits and vegetables into, a wide mouth will help to save time, as the vegetables and fruits wont need to be cut up into as many pieces.

For the more serious fresh juice drinkers it is a good idea to make sure that the juicer not only provides a good amount of juice, but be aware of the quality of the juice.

Often the friction from some juicers can generate heat, which can damage the micronutrients in the juice. Find a juice maker that can keep the enzymes, antioxidants, and vitamins present in the juice, without damaging them.

Safety features are also important; added features such as anti slip rubber feet will not only keep the appliance from slipping and moving around, they will also keep vibration and noise down to a minimum.

A good juice blender will have a long warranty on the motor, parts, and blades. Cheaper models often have around 3 months warranty on them as they are not made for daily use, and the motor is likely to burn out if put under too much pressure.

If you are looking for a juice extractor for everyday use, it is important to pay a little bit more for quality.

If you are on a budget it is often a good idea to wait until a quality product goes on sale rather than to buy a cheaper brand appliance.
