How to Have Extraordinary and Worry Free Baby Showers

By: Jeff Dodd

Baby showers are one of the best ways to welcome the coming up of a new born. It is also one of the best times where friends and relatives can gather and offer parenting advices to the mothers and fathers to be. Baby showers also give a great opportunity among loved ones to welcome the new born by “showering” him with clothes, toys and other gifts. If you think of hosting a baby shower for a friend, follow these guidelines so you will have an exceptional and a worry free baby shower.

Have a proper date for the baby shower. Schedule the baby shower at least six to eight weeks prior to the expected delivery date. Hosting the party too early will leave guests guessing about the gender of the new born. Determining the gender is needed for many people to know what particular designs and color of present things they can give for the new born. Having new born showers a week before the expected birth date will also waste away many presents for reason, at this time, most parents-to-be must have already purchased the needed things for their new born.

Make a plan. This entails making a list of who will come to the baby shower; the kind of food that will be readied, the best time and day to conduct the party, and thinking about the ideal theme for the party. It is always clever to ask the help of other friends for reason doing all the responsibilities yourself will make you tired and will keep you from enjoying in the baby shower. It is also best to ask the opinion of the mother-to-be about particular matters such as present registry and names of relatives she wanted to come. Do not forget that the baby shower is in celebration of her coming child and her motherhood. Remember that the baby shower is in celebration of her coming child and her parenthood.

Add fun to the baby shower. Baby showers are not just about presents, they are also the best time for friends and relatives to gather and celebrate the coming of a new life. Make the baby shower fun by playing games such as guessing the current weight of the mother or unscrambling new born related words. You must give time and opportunity though to parenting advices that friends and relatives would want to give to the mother.

Babies are dear little angels from heaven. Celebrating a new life by hosting a baby shower will make you more appreciated by friends and family members on their way to becoming parents. Don’t be intimidated by the intimidation and challenges of the event to keep you from welcoming a new born in the world.
