Joint Pain - Causes and Home Remedies

Joint Pain

Pain which affecting the joints (The point at which two or more bones are connected is called a joint) are called joint pain. Bones are joined to bones by strong, elastic bands of tissue called ligaments. Joint pain can be caused by many types of injuries or conditions.

Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disorder that causes stiffness and pain in the joints. Osteoarthritis involves growth of bone spurs and degeneration of cartilage at a joint. It is very common in adults older than 45 and can cause joint pain.
If pain, stiffness and swelling don't improve after adequate thyroid treatment, consult your doctor.

There is multiple type of join pain. These areas-

Neck pain
Ankle Pain
Muscle Pain
Palms Pain

Causes of Joint Pain

Some diseases can contribute to back pain and are likely to need long-term treatment. But they're far less common than minor damage to the back's muscles and ligaments. Joint pain may also be caused by bursitis (inflammation of the bursae). The bursae are fluid-filled sacs that cushion and pad bony prominences, allowing muscles and tendons to move freely over the bone. The causes can be divided into categories : -

• Wear-and-tear, such as from overuse, injury, or osteoarthritis. Osteoarthritis is the most common form of arthritis, or joint inflammation,
• Conditions that affect metabolism, such as gout and pseudogout. These conditions result from materials being deposited into the joints,
• Infections of the joint, sometimes called septic arthritis.

Home Remedies for Joint Pain

*Mix two teaspoonful of winter cherry with ghee and molasses to make porridge. Eat this porridge with an empty stomach for 15 days.
*Mix camphor, methyl salicylate. Eucalyptus oil and menthol is to make a rubbing mixture for aches and pains.
*The compounds menthol and camphor are found in many over-the-counter backache medications. They are chemicals that can help ease the muscle tightness that contributes to many bad backs. Menthol is a natural constituent of plants in the mint family, particularly peppermint and spearmint, although the aromatic oils of all the other mints contain it as well. Camphor occurs in spike lavender, hyssop and coriander.
*Drink some radish juice with sugar added to it.
*Drink a cup of papaya seed tea six or seven times daily for two or three weeks for relief from joint pain.
*Drink 15 grams of fresh bathu juice daily with an empty stomach without adding any salt or sugar to it.
*A gentle massage with Arthcare Oil is recommended to relieve joint pain and to strengthen the bone tissues, the skeletal and the neuromuscular systems, giving a comfortable movement of joints and muscles.
