Means Of Fighting Against A Problem Of Blushing

By: Gary Ambrosh

Excessive blushing is not a straightforward problem, meaning there isn't just one uncomplicated way out. In order to conquer the problem of blushing excessively, there are various topics you must ponder on. There's one item that will have the biggest bearing on your success and I will reveal it to you now.

When attempting to find a solution to some other problem connected with Erythrophobia, I inadvertently stumbled on the way to conquer the problem of Erythrophobia, viz. 'stop resisting'-when something comes to pass, you have to let it happen and let yourself feel it without fighting against the feelings.

Often, when we feel an undesirable emotion or an emotion that doesn't seem sensible to us, we tend argue with ourselves, trying to convince ourselves that we ought not to feel one way or the other. But, the more you attempt to pressurize yourself to change or calm down, the tougher it becomes to do so. Refusing to give in to such feelings becomes much more tough as the unhelpful feelings mount, rather than becoming less.

If you have read anything by Carl Jung, a prominent intellectual, Swiss psychiatrist and founder of analytical psychology, you may recollect him saying 'what you resist persists'. This is indeed the truth. If you defy a thought or emotion in your mind and combat it, it just becomes worse and becomes more intense. If you redden and endeavour to oppose it, you blush even more acutely and more frequently.

By all the time being worried about going red in the face and attempting to prevent yourself from going red in the face, you are just making yourself more conscious of the problem. By losing control of yourself about it, you will just force the problem to become more intense. This is how a problem of easy blushing quickly becomes a problem of excessive, or severe blushing.

Until you discover how to stop resisting your blushing, you're not going to stop blushing in excess. This is the predominant piece of the way out although there are other things you need to look into. The predominant point is not to underestimate the letting go of resistance. If you have battled with blushing for years, this is not going to be easy to do. It's easy to think, 'right, stop defying it and I will no longer blush again', but it can take months or years to get out of the cycle of blushing. Figuring out how defying it can go against you is step one. When you grasp that, you are well on your way to defeating your excessive blushing.

Excessive blushing can disturb you emotionally as well as socially. The predominant technique to defeating a blushing problem is to fully understand it. Most sufferers do not. To get added complete information visit www.blushingfree.com
