An ulcer occurs when the coating of these organs is decomposed by the acidic digestive juices which are concealed by the stomach cells. Peptic ulcer ailment is common, affecting millions of Americans yearly.

Causes of Peptic Ulcer

A major causative factor (60% of gastric and up to 90% of duodenal ulcers) is chronic inflammation due to Helicobacter pylori that colonizes the antral mucosa.

The immune system is not capable to clear the infection, in spite of the appearance of antibodies. Thus, the bacterium can cause a chronic lively gastritis (type B gastritis), resulting in a defect in the directive of gastrin production by that part of the abdomen, and gastrin secretion can either be decrease (most cases) resulting in hypo- or achlorhydria or augmented.

• As the disease progress there is distension of the stomach due to unnecessary flatulence, besides mental tension, insomnia and a regular weakening of the body. It may cause constipation with gradual blood in the stools.

Treatment of Peptic Ulcer by Nature Cure

• Diet is of utmost importance in the treatment of ulcer. Milk cream, butter, fruits and fresh, raw and boil vegetables, natural foods and natural vitamin supplement are the best diet for an ulcer patient. The most effective remedy for peptic ulcers are bananas and milk which are suspicious an ideal diet for the patients who are in an advanced state of the disease.Almond milk made from lightened almonds in a blender is very beneficial. The other ways of treating Peptic ulcer are as follows
• Raw goat`s milk is also highly beneficial, since it actually helps to heal peptic ulcer.
• Cabbage is regarded as another helpful home remedy for peptic ulcers. Cabbage is boiled in water. This water is allowed to cool and taken twice daily.
Home remedies for Peptic Ulcer
• Daily intake of 10-20gms of pure ghee with rice or meal is rewarding in condition of peptic ulcer.
• Banana fruit contains some ulcer healing properties. One to three bananas are to be taken the length of with a cup of milk. This provide a protective cover to the ulcer by neutralizing the extreme acidity of gastric juices. However, the small yellow bananas are to be avoid and the larger greener ones preferred.
• Certain plants have harsh properties like patol (wild snake gourd) patar, brahmi (Indian pennywort), aloe etc are very practical in the treatment of peptic ulcer.
• The decoction of barley, pipal (long pepper), parval (wild snake gourd) along by means of honey, can be taken for ulcers and sharpness twice daily in the dose of 25-50ml.
• Amlaki- botanically known as Emblica officinalis, Indian gooseberry is highly functional and the fresh juice extract from the fruit all along with some sugar, if addicted daily on empty stomach, works astonishingly in this condition.
• The powder of haldi (2.5-5gm) assorted with honey and jaggery has prove to be very efficient for scheming peptic ulcer.
