By: Gabi Koesterhaus

Sweating is the body's way of helping you to cool down, many people sweat when they are anxious too and of course when they participate in exercise. Unfortunately for some people they sweat more than others meaning that they feel self conscious about it, unable to wear the cloths they want to or are even to scared to hold or shake someone's hands. This can be dealt with and this is why I have written this article to help you realize the reasons why you just can't stop sweating.

Sweating too much, which is also known as hyperhidrosis can affect people either in certain parts of their body, such as their underarms, or hands. For others it is all over their body and no matter how many kinds of anti-per spirants they try they are just not able to solve the problem.

One of the main factors that can mean you sweat more than other people is that you have inherited it from your mother, father or from both. This is something that you are unable to control, however you are able to stop it from occurring but you will need to find a method that will suit you.

It may be that your diet is causing your problem. It is shown that people affected who eat a lot of foods containing spices or those who drink alcohol are making the problem worse, and by changing your diet you could get rid of the problem altogether without the need of injections or surgical procedures.

When you suffer from certain ailments it could be that they are what is causing the problem. Thyroid problems often cause people to sweat more, as do anxiety problems. This can be worsened by medication, or it could be the medicine you are taking that has caused the problem in the first place. Those who are overweight are also mire susceptible to sweating more as their body needs to work a lot harder to keep cool and with the extra weight being carried it can be just the same as when you are trying to move heavy luggage, it makes you sweat as you move.

If you are one of the unlucky people who sweats a lot on a regular basis you could be prone to other problems such as fungal infections. These can affect any part of the body where it is wet and warm and is an ideal breeding ground for infection. Warts are another side effect of sweating as are spots as the pores become clogged, and being unable to breath spots and warts as well as other kinds of skin malformations are created. This could in itself cause the person to be down and is a more serious problem than it may seem.

You can be sure that once you have worked out the reason as to why you are sweating you will be able to stop sweating happening altogether.

If you can't stop sweating and you're having problems with underarm sweat, you need to learn why. Find out why you this is happening and what you can do to resolve it.
