Do you need free money to start a small business but haven't got a clue as to where to begin? You don't need to look any further; there's hope for your business. As a motivation to small business owners, the government sets aside millions of dollars in government grant money to assist personal and small businesses to develop and grow. Every year there are millions of unclaimed dollars due to a lack of knowledge concerning grants from the government. It is said that 50% of small businesses fail within their first year. Why aren't small businesses successful? A lack of experience and meager funding are the two of the more familiar explainations as to why small businesses don't make it past their first year. Why does the government give out small business grants to assist entrepreneurs with start up costs if there are so many small businesses that fail? How come the U.S. government has such a major interest in small and personal businesses? Small businesses likely represent 95 percent of all employers in the United States. Likewise, they contribute 50 percent of the gross domestic product. Small business grants are provided to entrepreneurs to encourage and promote growth and improvement in the economy. Three of four new jobs in America are provided by small businesses.

The U.S. government does not provide federal money for starting a small business. The Small Business Administration, or SBA is a Federal government agency which supports, advocates, provides resources, and protects the interests of small business issues. The government has left it up to each state to allocate funding with state grants to help small businesses to grow and develop. Small businesses are vital to the economic strength of the United States of America. With this in mind, the Small Business Administration has a mission to devote both time and money into helping entrepreneurs and the self employed in order to start, grow, and create a small business. Giving a support system to new businesses by awarding small business grants is a tiny gesture when the economic advancement of the country is a determining factor.

If you are an entrepreneur, the U.S. government offers grants so they can help your business to succeed. If you would like some help researching these small business grants, it would be a great benefit to hear about what Matthew Lesko has got to say about free money that can be available that can help your small business to grow and develop. Small business grants are an incentive to both entrepreneurs and to the national economy. The more small businesses that are developed, the more jobs will also be created. In order to protect the progression of small businesses, the U.S. government will help provide small business grants along with additional resources that are important for small businesses to flourish and thrive.
