Taking Care of Your Teeth and Mouth

Dentists say that the most important part of tooth care happens at home. Brushing and flossing properly, along with regular dental checkups, can facilitate prevent tooth decay and gum disease.
Sharp, throbbing pain and extremely painful toothaches can present themselves completely unannounced. Most of the time the reason for this alarming pain is some form of tooth decay caused by a medical condition, poor mouth and dental hygiene or a fractured or else damaged tooth, as most citizens will experience this pain at some point in their lives, it is handy to be aware of some toothache remedies and prepare your Dental Plan accordingly.
Just since your grandparents teeth slept in a katori besides them, does not mean losing teeth is just a matter of time. If you look after them, you can still be buried at the ripe old age of 110 with teeth intact. It has been known to happen. But you have to first figure out if you are brushing your teeth right. Surprisingly, almost 75 percent of the population are responsibility it all wrong! The best way to brush teeth is to leave the brush at a 45 degree angle and use short downward strokes. Gently does it. Use about ten strokes per section and keep brushing for at least 4-5 minutes. Don't forget your tongue. Cleaning Your Teeth and Gums

An important part of good oral health is knowing how to brush and floss correctly. Thorough brushing each day removes plaque. Gently brush the teeth on all sides with a soft bristle brush using a fluoride toothpaste. Circular and short back-and-forth strokes work best. Take the time to brush carefully along the gum line. Lightly brushing your tongue also helps to remove plaque and food debris and makes your mouth feel fresh.

In addition to brushing, using dental floss is essential to keep the gums healthy. Proper flossing is important because it remove plaque and leftover food that a toothbrush cannot reach. Your dentist or dental hygienist can prove you the best way to brush and floss your teeth. If brushing or flossing consequences in bleeding gums, pain, or irritation, see your dentist at once.

. Home Remedies for Toothache

Application of clove oil to the aching tooth is superlative to reduce pain and also remove any kind of tooth infection. This is a very effective home remedy for toothache.

Chewing leaves of guava tree will also provide relief from pain. This is one of the simplest toothache treatments.

Garlic clove when placed on the aching tooth provides immediate relief from pain.

Apply a mixture of a pinch of pepper powder and a quarter teaspoon of common salt on the aching tooth as it will provide relief. This is also one of the good home remedies for toothache.

Toothache treatment - Chewing fresh plants of spinach makes the gums strong and prevents tooth decay.
