The Definitive Stop Snoring Guide.

If you are struggling to find a solution to help you or your partner stop snoring then you need look no further than within yourself. I’ll explain how that works a bit later – and no, it’s not some weird, new age inner healing thing – it’s simple biomechanics.

You see there are many who would like you to believe that the solution for your snoring problem is contained within their shop or chemist - and guess what? It's also expensive. Many would have you believe that their product will cure your problem - that it's a simply spray, strap, pill or pillow that will give you the peaceful, quiet and relaxing sleep you and your loved one is searching for.

So what do these devices, contraptions and medicines do? Ultimately, the vast majority will give you short term relief and by dealing with symptoms and not the cause of why you are snoring.

The real cynic in me also recognizes that nearly all these products are planned to turn you into long term customers and not cured snorers!!

So what do you need to stop snoring?

Firstly – you need to understand why you snore.

It’s actually very simple and once you know why – the how to stop is very clear. You snore because there is an obstruction in your breathing passage. The obstruction causes vibrations and hence the noise.

So what is this obstruction? Well it’s you yourself. You see when you are asleep your muscles relax. Weak muscles in the throat cause the obstruction. That’s why snoring is particularly bad when you lie on your back – you relaxed throat muscles droop into the area that air is passing through and they then vibrate. Hence when your partner says “Roll over dear” (often with a little less pleasantry) they know that you snore less on your front than on your back.

So how do you stop snoring?

Well if the problem is relaxed muscles – the stop snoring solution is to strengthen them.
(You could always attempt to always sleep on your front by sewing a walnut into your pajamas – but if you don’t where them, then your looking at painful and needless surgery!)

The right breathing and throat exercises WILL cure your snoring for good. The muscles will be nicely toned, so that even when you are in your deepest sleep, the muscles will stay taut and not sag into the air flow causing obstruction and vibration.

If you were to ask even the most obese and unfit classically trained singers if they snore you would find that very few do – why? Because they have trained and strengthen breathing and throat muscles.

Please do not be fooled by the simplicity of this stop snoring technique – it is proven to work. Also, please do not underestimate the importance of finding a snoring cure. Snoring puts undue pressure on your heart and can lead to more severe complications. People who snore tend to have less relaxing sleep and lack of good sleep leads to anxiety, stress, medical complications, relationship problems amongst other issues.

Some just simply exhausted though being woken by their snoring partner or being told to roll over or to go and sleep on the couch.
