Tips to Boost Testosterone Levels

By: morleyengelke

Testosterone is the male hormone that guides the male behavior. It plays a significant role in the growth of the secondary sexual characteristics in men. Testosterone is must for the development of the reproductive tissues in males. Even the development of the health prostate depends upon the testosterone levels in the body.

It is a basic androgen required in the male body for maintaining the better health of the men. The development of the muscle mass, strength, and bone density is closely linked with the presence of the adequate testosterone in the body. But, due to the unhealthy lifestyle that we are involved in, influences the testosterone levels in our body adversely. Low testosterone levels gives rise to the problems like infertility, impotence, osteoarthritis, baldness, weak immune system, heart disorders, and many more. So rather than facing all these health problems, it would always be better to improve the testosterone levels. Here are some simple tips to boost testosterone levels:

1. Eat well to increase the testosterone levels. Include proteins rich foods in your daily diet. Also, introduce the adequate amount of the vitamins and minerals in the diet. In all, it would be better if you opt for the balanced diet. Eating eggs, meat, fresh fruits and vegetables, cereals, and milk and milk products helps to boosts the testosterone levels in the body.

2. Sleep well to induce the testosterone levels in the body. It is your late night sleeping habit that has lead to the low testosterone levels. It has been noted that about 30% of the testosterone levels are being reduced to lack of the sleep. The sleep of the about 7 to 8 hours is required for the adequate testosterone levels in the body. Remember that it is during the sleep that testes produce the maximum testosterone.

3. Do exercise regularly. The daily workout regime increases the blood flow through the body that enables all the body processes to perform at its best. This improves the production of the testosterone in the body. Basic exercises like walking, swimming, squats, and pull ups are best to boost the testosterone levels. But, please don’t do the excessive weight training because it may affect the testosterone levels adversely.

4. Reduce the estrogen (female hormone) levels in the body to promote more production of the testosterone. Estrogen has the anti-testosterone property. So it is necessary to culminate this hormone from male body. For this you need to eat vegetables like cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, radishes, and turnips. These vegetables have got the unique property to reduce the estrogen levels in the body.

5. Cut down the stress levels in order to maintain the healthy testosterone levels in the body. The stress releases the hormone cortisol that is catabolic hormone and it drops down the testosterone in the men’s body. Daily exposure to the excessive stress disturbs the testosterone production process, which results in its low production. To cut down the stress we suggest you to plan your daily activity and avoid the situations where you get stressed.

6. Limit the intake of the alcohol and smoking. These two unhealthy practices has been the major reason behind the reduction in the testosterone levels. Alcohol inhibits the process of the testosterone production completely; as a result these men face the problem of the testosterone deficiency. Through the habit of smoking, we inhale a lot of tobacco. This tobacco contains about 30 carcinogenic chemicals that interact with the testosterone levels in the body, thus reducing its levels.

These are the simple tips through which you can increase the testosterone levels and maintain its adequate percentage in the body.
