Some of the common side effects in young women on steroids may include quick weight gain with larger muscle mass, aggressiveness and bad attitude, jaundice / skin change, purple or red spots on the body, swelling of feet and lower legs, shaking or trembling, persistent body odors, and severe acne breakouts with oily skin. The women on steroids may experience side effects on their reproductive systems, which may include development of male features, increased facial hair growth, breast shrinkage and increased size of the clitoris.

However, the older women on steroids can really live healthy lives because of steroids.
